"Tuddy," 89, of Solvay, passed away Wednesday at home. Anthony was born and lived in the village of Solvay all his life. He was the highway superintendent for the village of Solvay for several years before retiring in 1972. He was a longtime or-ganizer of the Solvay Summer Festival, a communicant of Holy Family Church and a past member of the MOOSE, Hilltop Club, Republican Club and aide to former State Assemblyman Ned Kinsella. Anthony was predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Esther (Lauri) in 2005. Surviving are two daughters, Joanne (Ralph) Noce of Lakeland and Kathy Marinelli of Solvay; one son, Robert M. (Kathy) of Camillus; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave. The family requests that any contributions be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
