Ann J. Phillips, age 79, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. A graveside service for Ann will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Parkhill Cemetery, 4160 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907 with Pastor Richie Ashburn officiating.

Ann was born December 15, 1941 in Columbus, Georgia. She grew up in Columbus and raised her family in Phenix City, AL. Ann loved her large family and enjoyed family gatherings. She was generous to a fault but very fair. Ann could be sassy at times and that’s what made her special. She was an avid Alabama Football Fan: “Roll Tide”. Ann will always be remembered as a loving mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all.

Ann enjoyed working as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a long time employee at Valley Produce and Auten Foods. She finished up her career at James M. Knight Inc. where she retired at the age of 76.

Ann’s husband, William Thomas Phillips; father, Bob Jaggard; and mother, Billie Jaggard; preceded Ann in death. She is survived by daughter, Tina Thomason (Neal); and son, Tommy Phillips (Kulu); sisters, Sheryl Aldridge (Lanny) and Debbie Brazil; grandsons, Seth Thomason, Cy Thomason, Dustin Phillips (Sarah), Mikey Yslava, Vinny Yslava; granddaughters, Brandi Wohrman, Kaci Phillips, Tiffini Phillips, Anna Yslava; great-grandsons, Tucker Phillips, Nash Wohrman, and Nason Wohrman; great-granddaughter, Nicollette Wohrman; special care giver, Martha Flowers; other family members and a host of friends.
