Ronald Dale Calub, 76, of Brooksville, Florida passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021. He was born in Tampa, Florida to Emilio and Grace Calub on November 27, 1944. He grew up in the Tampa Bay area and graduated from Plant High School. Proud to serve his country, he enlisted into the US Marine Corp at the age of seventeen and served in the Vietnam War. He earned the Purple Heart during his service in the Vietnam War. After his service he drove for Consolidated Freightways for thirty years. He retired in Brooksville to take up his third occupation as co-owner of Artist Gardens and Stable. Ronnie was an avid runner, completing 26 marathons, and enjoyed volunteering in the community. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Emilio and Grace Calub, as well as his sister Emilie Grace. He is survived by his loving wife Connie Calub; daughter Nikki Rach (Dennis); sister Carolyn Ona (Nestor), Kim Atkinson (Rick) and Marilyn Hertzberg (Steve); grandchildren Jonathan Rach and JuliAnne Rach; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at a later date located at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers or cards please donate to the ARC Nature Coast.
