Kenneth was the son of Jimmy Ogburn and Betty Ann Collins Hillman. He was educated in the Macon County School System and was a graduate of D. F. Douglass High School in Montezuma,. Georgia. Over the years, he was employed with Tyson Foods, Weyerhaeuser and Enterforce. He enjoyed sports and cars, he loved working on cars.
He was married to Howanda Felton Collins.
