He was employed for 32 years at Wall Trucking, Inc in Ellaville, Georgia as a Diesel Mechanic. He was a member of New Life Christian Ministries in Buena Vista, Georgia. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, painting cars and watching westerns on television.
He was married to Nettie Murray Stephenson on June 14, 1976. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Dewayne Stephenson, 1 sister, Mary Alice McCoy and 3 brothers, Herbert Stephenson Jr, Cleveland Stephenson and Wilbert Stephenson.
