Gwendolyn died on September 16, 2020 at age 86. She was born in Wilson, NY. She was predeceased by her parents Carl & Gladys (nee Stahl Buckner), her husband Glenn and grandchildren Glenn Carl and Cassandra Glenyce Herrmann.

Gwendolyn is survived by her children, Ellen (Michael) Herrmann and Scott (Rhonda) Martin; grandchildren, Vanessa, Melissa, Scott and Kenneth; great grandchildren, Makayla, Cassandra and Hailey; sister, Brenda (Robert) Bradley; many nieces and nephews.

Gwen was a former Deputy City Clerk for the City of North Tonawanda and worked in accounting for the Lawless Container Corporation and R.I.T, Energy Corporation after moving to Rochester, NY.

In her retirement years she enjoyed sales positions in Women's Fashions, her favorite being as the sales consultant for St. John's Women's Suits and Separates at Jacobsen's Dept store in Venice, FL.

She was a former member of Augustus H. Crown, O.E.S. # 619 of No. Tonawanda and a past matron of Germania Chapter, O.E.S., # 72 of Rochester, NY.

Gwen's hobby was the pursuit of the most beautiful life had to offer whether it was in clothes to wear or the items with which she decorated her home. We can only imagine the awe she experienced at her first sight of Heaven and the joy of her reunion with Glenn and others waiting for her there. Arrangements by Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, LLC.
Gwendolyn was laid to rest in Acacia Park Cemetery.
