Laura Jane (Peterson) Foote, a life long resident of Acton, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2018 at 91 years of age. She is predeceased by husband Maurice Foote, and brothers Robert Peterson of Acton and William Peterson of Zephryhills, FL. She is survived by her brother Stephen Peterson of Acton and many nieces and nephews.

Laura Jane was a strong and independent woman. She worked for the Acton Schools then the Acton Pharmacy for many years. She loved gardening and was a past president of the American Gladiola Society. Throughout the years she traveled regularly to gladiola flower shows with her husband and friends. Laura Jane was an avid reader, loved dogs and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her spirit, wit, wisdom and caring heart will be missed.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, March 30th at 11:30am in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Central Street, West Acton, with Rev. Laura Harris-Adam of the West Acton Baptist Church officiating.
