James Ora Hickman, age 86 of Paisley, Florida joined our Father in Heaven on January 17, 2021 at 12:04 a.m. with his loving family surrounding him. Jimmy known to his family was a hard working mason for 50+ years and was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather to many. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Maxine Fiest, of West Virginia, sister Lettie Persinger from West Virginia, daughter Tina Louise Hickman from Maryland, grandchild Daniel Hickman from Maryland, and Pauline Hickman from Florida. He leaves behind many to live on his legacy. This includes Anna Baker from West Virginia, Mary Yoho from West Virginia, and Mae Cecil (Punk) from Florida. Children left are Tonja McGuire from Lake Helen, Florida, James Timothy Hickman (Becki Hickman) from Paisley, Florida, James Thomas Hickman from Paisley, Florida, James Todd Hickman from Paisley, Florida, Traci Gentry (Fred Gentry) from Atwood, Tennessee, Tara Verdinez (Juan Verdinez) from Paisley, Florida and Tamarock Verdines ( Cris Verdines – his youngest son) from Paisley, Florida. He left behind 24 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
