Graveside services for Mr. Jerry C. Walsh, age 77, will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, LA with Rev. Tommy Patton officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm at Bailey Funeral Home.
Mr. Walsh was born on July 6, 1943 to Clyde and Cleo Ivy Walsh in Sarepta, LA and passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Shreveport, LA. He worked as the Plant Financial Controller for International Paper and Arizona Chemical for 23 years. He enjoyed fishing, sports of all kinds, and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Sue Bagwell Walsh of Bossier City, LA; and a grandson, Joshua Walsh and wife, Chelsea of Taylor, AR.
Mr. Walsh was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kelly Walsh; and a sister, Margaret Ann Walsh.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Walsh, Ken Ivy, Gerald Holland, Bruce Holland, Gene Bagwell, and Allen Holland.
