John had lived in Forkville and the Morton community for most of his life; a Christian by faith and a member of New Home Baptist Church where he was very active member for many years. John enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved to travel.
Preceded in death by his wife Jennie Ruth in 2019; parents, William H. and Mamie (Craig) Patrick; brother Glenn Allen Patrick.
Mr. John is survived by one son, John Michael Patrick, wife Rita; two granddaughters, Mandy Brownlee, husband, Derrick, Michelle Smith, husband, Clayton; Three great grandchildren, Emily and Mason Rrownlee and Mary Atley Smith. Due to the covid virus there was a private service was held at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Funeral Services were entrusted with Ott and Lee Funeral in Morton, MS.
In lieu of flowers, make memorials to New Home Baptist Church Building fund, 200 New Home Rd., Lena, MS 39094.
