He attended several schools before graduating from Van Buren High School in 1947. He married Mary Lou Marks in 1950 and moved to Indianapolis where he worked for Coca – Cola Bottling Company for 43 years, retiring in 1991. He served with the United States Army from 1952 to 1954, during the Korean Conflict, and was stationed in Straubing, Germany with the 6th Armored Calvary, Headquarters and Headquarters Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Opal Walker, brothers Alfred Earle and John ( Jack) Walker.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou and a son Myron Walker and wife Jane of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be at Calcutta Cemetery.
