Maria Luisa Guerra, age, 80, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Doctor Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. She was born on September 09,1940 in Camargo, Tamps, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marcos and Francisca R. Elizondo and her husband, Ricardo Guerra. She is survived by her children, Celia Guerra, Ricardo Guerra Jr., Jose Angel Guerra, Martin Guerra and Maria del Carmen Guerra, Adan Guerra, Victor Guerra, Claudia Marlen Guerra. Survivors also include her 27 grandchildren and 31 great-grand-children. Viewing is going to be on Friday January 01, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday January 02, 2021 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a chapel service at 9:00 am follow to Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:10 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
