Charles “Chuck” E Lambert III, of Superior WI, husband, father, grandfather, step-grandfather, and step-great grandfather, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Duluth, MN at the age of 76.

Chuck was born in Yuma, AZ to his parents, Audrey and Charles. He grew up in the town of Foxboro, WI. He was the oldest of eight children. Chuck served four years Active Duty in the United States Air Force. After being Honorably Discharged, he then worked at the Duluth Steel Mill and then worked at Koppers Creosote Plant in Superior from 1970 to 1998.

Chuck loved the outdoors. Hunting, Fishing, shooting in Archery Leagues, Camping and ATVing were among many of his interests and hobbies. He also spent a lot of his time volunteering his help at Sportsman’s Choice where he would hang out and also make arrows for many bow hunters in the area. He also loved taking the dogs to Wade Bowl to let them run and play. Because of our beloved Zipp and Rocky, Chuck has met many more friends and their dogs where they all deemed him “Grandpa” as he always wore his “survival vest” that contained dog treats for all the dogs who loved him....mainly because he spoiled them.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his sister Charlotte.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Karen, his sons, Chuck, Mike and his bonus daughter Becky, his grandchildren Gina and Anna, his siblings Fred, Ed, Bob, Bill, Joey and Ginger, as well as many Nieces and Nephews, brother and sister in laws, his step-granddaughter, Olivia and her fiancé, Jake, his step-great grandson, Grayson James, and his ex-wife/friend, Joyce. Chuck didn’t realize how many people he has impacted over the years and how he has become so respected and loved.

Chuck will be cremated and wanted his ashes to be spread in the woods on the family homestead in Foxboro, WI. We would like to extend our special thanks to the hospice care unit where he received the very best care from the wonderful staff.

There will be a celebration of life later this year which will be announced publicly and the spreading of ashes will be announced to the family later as well. Chuck will be dearly missed. He is finally pain free and healthy and with his family who preceded him and “the boys” Zipp and Rocky. “Heaven gained a good man”. RIP Pop. We all love you very much. We’ll see you later.
