Born in Lebanon, PA on August 30, 1938, Raymond was a son of the late Charles and Agnes (Minnich) Fox. He was a welder for over 30 years prior to retiring. He worked for Bethlehem Steel in Steelton, PA and the Cornwall Ore Mines in Cornwall, PA. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Cornwall Ore Mines reunion committee, and a life member of the Rexmont Fire Hall. He was an avid Hershey Bears Hockey fan and active volunteer for the Hershey Jr. Bears. He enjoyed bowling and was one of the original bowlers and helped to start bingo at St. Gregory the Great.
In addition to his wife, Raymond is survived by a daughter, Lynnette M. Fox, fiancée of Jon Lattanze; two grandchildren, Ashley L. Kiscadden and Erik Wessner; three great grandchildren, Casey, Kaelani, and Aurora; a brother, Joseph J. Fox; three sisters, Mildred Koch, Marian Goss, wife of Marlin, and Judy Fox; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Fox Jr., Richard Fox, George Fox, and John Fox; and two sisters, Beatrice Bowman and Elizabeth Arndt.
A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 21st at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th Street, Lebanon. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22nd at St. Mary's Church, 2 North 8th Street, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
