Gloria Chambers, 73, of Helena, AL passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. Gloria was semi-retired and continued to consult on occasion. She was a true friend and loved by her family and many friends and colleagues. She loved to share her adventurous spirit by coordinating numerous trips with her close friends. Ireland and Italy were her favorite places to visit. Gloria enjoyed her new tradition of opening her home to family, friends and neighbors for her annual Christmas party. Gloria was an adoptive parent to many "fur babies" and always made sure they were well taken care of. Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred McCullars; her father, Charles Bussey, and her brother, Joseph Traylor. Gloria is survived by her niece, Adrienne; her nephews, Rodney and Adam; her brother, Clayburn Allen (Kim) Traylor, Jr.; her aunt, Betty Agee, and her cousin, Kris Agee. Graveside service will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Cedar Hill Cemetery 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Bessemer McCalla Animal Clinic, 403 4th Avenue SW, Bessemer, AL 35023 or call 205-425-1679.
