American motion picture and television actor of the 1930s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. Appeared in the 1956 Alfred Hitchcock thriller "The Man Who Knew Too Much." His many TV appearances included roles on classics such as "The Twilight Zone," and "The Dick Van Dyke Show." He had the semi-regular role of 'Lawrence Larry Chapman' on the long-running 1960s series "The Beverly Hillbillies."
