JOSEPH A. CUNNINGHAM
AGE 55 YEARS

Joseph A. Cunningham, of 329 W. Sixth St., Emporium, formerly of St. Marys, passed away, following a lengthy illness, at his residence early Saturday morning, January 16, 2021, with his wife, Jill, by his side. He was a son of George and Martha M. Herbstritt Cunningham, Jr., Akron, New York. On November 17, 1990, he married the love of his life, Jill Zimmer. They were married over 30 years.

Joe graduated from St. Marys High School. He worked for several companies, over 25 years, in the powder metal industry. Joe was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, in Emporium, which he truly loved, and the Sinnamahoning Sportsman Club. Joe loved his family and friends and could often be found working on his farm in Gardeau, spending time in the woods, whether it be walking through valleys or over mountains, hunting, fishing, shed hunting with his dog, Pepper ,or just admiring God's creations. He was always quick to lend a helping hand to anyone.

In addition to his parents and wife, Joe is survived by two sisters, Dianne (Drew) Klotzback, Basom, New York, and Connie (Chris) Montana, Rochester, New York; two brothers, Steve Cunningham, Bedford, Massachusetts, and Blaine (Sharon) Cunningham, Rochester, New York;

There will be no visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA, with the Rev. Paul S. Siebert, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow at the Portage Township Cemetery, Gardeau.
