Gerald Edmond "Jerry" Robinson, 94, of Topeka passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the University of Kansas – St. Francis Health Campus. Gerald was born August 2, 1926, in Topeka, Kansas, to Lucille and Orville Robinson. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Florence Waters and a brother, Jackie Robinson.
He graduated from Topeka High School and then joined the United States Navy and served in the Pacific in World War II. After the war, Gerald returned to Topeka and began a lifelong career as an electrician and was a member of the local IBEW for over 70 years.
