Lisa Ann Price, 59, of Lexington, KY, passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2021. She was born March 22, 1961 in Huntington, WV, to the late Redmond Turner “R.T.” Price, Jr, and Gloris Dotson Price, of Williamson, WV. In addition to her beloved father, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Shaun Dustin Mounts Price. She was raised and educated in Mingo County, WV, where she graduated from Williamson High School in 1979. Lisa was an accomplished pianist and played for the First Baptist Church of Williamson. She attended the University of Kentucky, where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the Gatton College of Business and Economics, graduating magna cum laude. She then attended the Indiana State University, graduating with a Master of Public Administration, summa cum laude. She began her career working for her father as a service manager at Price Motor Company, a Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, and Cadillac dealership founded by her grandfather, the late Redmond Turner Price, Sr., in 1925. Lisa eventually returned to Lexington, KY, where she worked for Lexmark International, Inc. from 1997-2017, when she retired. She served in several rolls, primarily focusing on international marketing and operations, in both Europe and the Asia-Pacific Region. She was a die-hard fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats and a lover of dogs, especially Shetland Sheepdogs. Lisa travelled the world, both personally and professionally, and even lived abroad in Freeport, Bahamas for a short time. She had a larger-than-life personality than left an impression on literally everyone she encountered. Lisa will be forever remembered by her family and friends and is survived by her mother, Gloris Dotson Price, of Williamson, WV; one brother David (Enga) Price of Belfry, KY; one daughter Jade Ann (Robert) Johnson of Somerset, KY; three grandchildren that she adored, Tyler, Averly, and Rylie Johnson, of Somerset, KY; one nephew, Shannon Mounts Price, of John’s Island; SC, her former husband and lifelong friend, Stephen Green, of Lexington, KY; her close friend that she also considered a sister, Debra Gabbard, of Lexington, KY; and many more cousins, friends, and neighbors. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Williamson. Funeral services will be conducted at the church immediately following visitation, beginning at 1:00 pm. Pastor Jarrod Belcher will officiate. The family ask that you please wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines, with respect to COVID-19. Interment is in the Mountain View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to First Baptist Church of Williamson, 508 Harvey Street, Williamson, WV 25661.
