Billy Joe Kelly, age 84, passed away to his heavenly home on January 17, 2021. He was born on March 14, 1936 to Joseph Jackson Kelly and Effie (Bryant) Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jessie Kelly; his sister and brother-in-law Luther and Lorene Alexander; brother, J.W. Felts; brother-in-law, Dwayne Garner; son-in-law, George Lee Parker, one grandchild and seven great-grandchildren.
Billy was married to his sweetheart for 43 years before her passing. They are reunited in heaven today! Billy was a hard worker, providing for his family and always ready to lend a hand to a friend. He has taken many into his home, to love and care for them. He loved the Lord and was a member of Hope Assembly of God in Murchison.
Survivors include, his children, Ethel May Parker, James Kelly, Porter Kelly and wife Merri, Jesse Kelly and wife Patrisia, Billie Jean Crum and husband Billy, Angel Kelly-Hetherwick and husband William; sister, Hazel Garner; 29 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 11 great great-grandchildren.
There will be a come and go visitation held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 8:30-4:30 PM at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Hope Assembly of God in Murchison. Burial to follow at Red Hill Cemetery.
