Kathy Michelle Brown, age 48 of Philadelphia, TN passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Kathy was born to the late Arthur Carmichael and Willie Dean (Nelson) Brown in Knoxville. She was a graduate of Loudon High School, class of 1991. For 18 years she has been employed as a Customer Care Associate with CVS Caremark in Knoxville.
Kathy loved to sing and was the choir director at her church, Macedonia Baptist in Philadelphia.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Clarissa, Crandle and Gary and wife Brenda Brown.
Kathy is survived by her precious daughters, Kayla and Kendra Brown, Philadelphia; brothers and sisters in-law, Dennis "Bear" (Rhonda) Brown, Knoxville and Patrick (Dena) Brown, Victorsville, CA; nieces and nephews, Robert Shea Brown, Mara Paige Brown, Shamarcus Leo Brown, Alyiah Brown, Anthony Brown and Tiye Gordon; one great niece, Alyssa Brown; special cousin, Carla Colvin, Loudon. She leaves many relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services honoring and remembering Kathy Brown will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, Jan. 20th in McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Clifton Jackson, Sr. officiating. The family asks you wear a mask and respect social distancing.
Family and friends will gather 11:00 AM Thursday in Philadelphia Cemetery for interment services with Rev. Reggie Jackson officiating.
