Snider, Larry Frederick, age 78, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. He was born on April 10, 1942 in Elyria, Ohio. The son of the late Fred and Charlain (Nee Boddy) Snider. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna M. Snider (nee Gelb), his son Trevor Snider, daughters Theresa Wisniewski (Snider) and Megan Snider. He was the proud grandfather to Avery, Jennifer, Courtney, Luke, Faith, Landen and Liam and brothers Allen and Jack Snider.
Larry served in the U.S. Army as an MP in Verona, Italy in the mid-Sixties. He was employed by Standard Oil of Ohio, now BP Oil for 38 years. During his retirement, he enjoyed wood carving, reading and hunting in the woods with dear friends in Marietta, Ohio. He also played chess and truly enjoyed teaching his grandsons the game. He vacationed every year at his childhood cabin in Sand Lake, in Canada where he made many memories and very good friends.
