PORTSMOUTH – Bonnie Vernon Pritchard Taylor, 92, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. She was born on April 13, 1928 in Danville, VA to the late Dave Vernon and Mary Sue Snipes Vernon.

She spent her early life on the family farm in Roxboro, NC. Her working years started as a cashier at the Churchland High School cafeteria. She later worked as a dental assistant for over 20 years for Dr. Schonfeld. She was a longtime member of Simonsdale Presbyterian Church before moving back to Danville in February of 2000.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie Pritchard; her second husband, Otha Taylor; and a great grandson, Trey Gardier.

Bonnie will be remembered by her son, Ken Pritchard and his wife Katrina; step daughter, Arline Dawson; granddaughters, Stephanie Parker and her husband Steve, Christine Mann, Katherine Willet and Crystal Faison; and six great grandchildren.
