Rose A. Sabel, 86, of 65 E. Reef St., Fond du Lac, died Wednesday.
She was born May 27, 1895, at St. Joe, Town of Marshfield, daughter of Henry and Margaret Stephanie Fuhrmann.
She was married to Stephen Sabel on May 30, 1923, at St. Joseph Church in St. Joe. He died Sept. 8, 1980.
Survivors include a son, Gilbert C. of Fond du Lac; a daughter, Mrs. J. (Rosemary) Macken Crowley of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Marvin (Sylvia) Mueller of rural New Holstein.
Five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Zacherl Funeral Home, Fond d Lac. A Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Fond du Lac.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
