Pastor Danny E. Gardner, 67, of Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2021, surrounded by his girls.
He was born in Gaston County on December 18, 1953 and was the son of the late Kenneth and Hazel Gardner.
He was the Pastor of Living Hope Baptist Church, Gastonia. He loved the Lord and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Danny loved his family and church family. He was an amateur radio operator, call sign KI4AIF.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Alice Gardner; daughters, Dee Anna Wilson (John), Kristen Heffner, and Danielle Gardner; brother, Pastor David Gardner; grandchildren, Makayla Heffner, Cole Heffner, Grayson Tate, Lilly Wilson, Addy Heffner, Thomas Tate and Liam Medley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Diane Drum Gardner.
A funeral service will be held 7 pm Tuesday, January 19, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service with Pastor Barry Spears and Pastor Ronnie Dale officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
There will be a committal service 11 am Wednesday at the Chapel of Peace, Gaston Memorial Park.
Final Resting Place: Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum
