Richard T. Hanna, 77, formerly of White Hall, MD, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Kashner) Hanna to whom he was married 49 years.
Born in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Thomas and Helen (Ford) Hanna.
Richard attended Hereford High School and later moved to Stewartstown after marrying Shirley. Richard worked for Baltimore County Highways, retiring after 30 years. He loved the outdoors and he also cut & sold fire wood for many years.
In addition to his wife Shirley, he is survived by his three children Kristi Rauhauser, Russell Gettle and his girlfriend Kathy and Joshua Hanna and his wife Amy; two grandchildren Rachel and Jonathan Tyson; 4 great grandchildren and his two sisters Charlotte and Barbara.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at Valley View Alliance Church; 200 Alliance Ave., Hallam, PA 17406. A Graveside Service will begin at 3:30pm on Wednesday at St. John (Sadler's) Lutheran Cemetery, Stewartstown.
