Faye graduated from DeSoto High School in 1955 and married her beloved Corky the same year. She was a homemaker and mother of four until 1964 when she went to work at G. Pierce Wood Memorial Hospital until 1972 when she gave birth to her fifth child.
Her greatest accomplishment was raising her five children. Her family remembers her as a fine example of a Christian sister, mother, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, great-aunt, and confidant to so many. She was known as “Grandma Faye” to many people, not just her own grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Tim (Susan) of Palatka, FL; Cheryl (Tim); Debbie (Jeff); Sears (Elizabeth); Jason (Shona), and her two sisters, Theda (Junior) and Kay (Dale) all of Arcadia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Steven (Kelly), Julia, Angela, Amanda, Joseph (Ashley), Bryan, Robert (Brittany), Brittany (Matt), Bryant (Staci), Dustin (Amanda), Shayla (Josh), James (Laura), Sydney (Ivan), Greyson (Skyler), Gavin, Sears, and Gracie. She also had 24 great-grandchildren and another on the way.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hansford “Hank” Westberry, her mother, Mildred Murphy Westberry, her husband, Corwin “Corky” Coker, and her sister, Mary Westberry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church, the church she loved so much.
