Paul D. Dinwoodey, 81, died, due to cancer, October 19, 1990 at his home in Salt Lake City.

Born April 11, 1909 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Leroy G. Dinwoodey and Lucille Jennings Dinwoodey. He Married Betty Ruth Thompson in 1937.Paul was Vice President of Dinwoodey Furniture Company Inc., until the company closed the store.

Paul was an active member of Gyro International, the University Club, Ye Old Skating Club, and Saturday Nigh Dance Club. He loved his family, friends, gardening, games, bird hunting, and his home and yard.

He is survived by his wif,e Betty Thompson Dinwoodey, daughter Susan (Timmy) Dinwoodey Burton, son Devereaux Thompson Dinwoodey, daughter-in-law, Mary B. Dinwoodey, son-in-law, Richard R. Burton, granddaughter Catharina T. Dinwoodey and Jessica D. Dinwoodey, sister Jane Dinwoodey Hampton, and brother Henry Dinwoodey. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and sister Margaret Dinwoodey.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Utah Audoban Society.

Memorial services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, October 23, at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South.
