Marjorie (House) Buie Meddley, age 85 of Malvern passed away Saturday July 19, 2014 at the Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hot Springs.
She was born August 4, 1928 in Crossroads, Arkansas.
She was retired from Westbend at Sheridan and a homemaker. She was a member of Second Baptist Church Malvern where she taught Sunday School. Marjorie loved to travel and be with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, John Thomas "Johnny" Buie, second husband, Wayne Meddley, son John Mark Buie, daughter, Donna R. Hughes, three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors are her son, Tom C. Buie and wife Cathie of Malvern, son-in-law Richard Hughes of Sheridan, Sister, Frankie Neal and husband George of Benton, step-children, Randy Meddley of Hot Springs, Ray Meddley (Diane) of Parrish, Florida, Paula Wychopen (Forrest) and Judy Foster (Stephen) all of Houston. eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
There is no planned visitation.
Graveside services will be 10AM Tuesday July 22, at Philadelphia Cemetery with Brother Don Goodman officiating.

Memorials may be made to Third Baptist Church, Malvern.
