Johnnie was born in Sherman to Ben and Beatrice Puckett. She was raised in Sherman and attended Sherman Schools graduating from Sherman High in 1956. She met and eventually married Robert Ted Bearden. He remarked when he first saw Johnnie “I am going to marry her.”, and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage together.
Johnnie loved her family and especially her grand and great grandchildren. She loved nature and arts and crafts but most of all she loved her Lord and Savior with whom she is reunited, along with her family and husband, Ted. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her daughter April Bearden.
She is survived by her son Erik Bearden and wife Lisa of Sherman, brother, Gerald Puckett of Sherman, granddaughter Tedi Bearden and great grandchildren, Zoey and Theo.
