Robert W. “Bob” /”Pfitzy” Pfitzenmaier, 80, of Chestnut St. passed away Thursday January 14, 2021 at St. James Hospital following a brief illness.
Bob was a lifelong resident of Canisteo where he owned and operated the former Pfitzenmaier Gulf Station in Canisteo for many years and eventually working and retiring from Corning Inc. in 2001.
On August 29, 1964 he married the former Mylie M. McLean who predeceased him in January of 2016.
He is survived by two daughters, Susan (Jeffrey) Kenefick of Corning, Nicole (Jeffrey) Harrington of Penfield and a son Michael Pfitzenmaier of Lancaster, Pa. 7 grandchildren.
