Danny was a long time Scouter in Sam Houston Area Council. He started with his grandson, Justin, and stayed with the Tiger Den until they made Eagle. Danny served as a Cubmaster for many years. He was Wood Badge trained and later served on several Wood Badge staffs. His service and dedication was recognized by the Aldine Pathfinder District with the District Award of Merit. Sam Houston Area Council honored Danny with the Silver Beaver Award, the highest honor for a volunteer within the council. Danny honored Scouting with his never-ending cheerfulness, his work ethic, and his dedicated service. Danny was dedicated to his family and his friends.
Danny is survived by his wife of 39 years. four children, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
