James Louis Huffman, age 72 of Nettleton, MS, passed away on January 1, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS.

James was born on December 28, 1948 in West Point, MS, son of the late Louis and Mattie Katherine Allen Huffman. He was a member of Cason Baptist Church, Nettleton, MS, and worked as a truck driver with Royal Trucking Company for over 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Newman.

James is survived by: his daughter, Jamie Fore of Rome, GA; brothers, Douglas Huffman, Dewayne Huffman, and Barry Huffman; sister, Jeanne Jones; 6 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of the Life of James will be conducted on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Brian Fike officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
