He grew up in Buckhead. He attended St. Pius X Catholic High School and graduated from Georgia State University. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and volunteered in several different roles. He had a successful career working for “Kastle Keepers,” a local home security company in Atlanta founded by his father, Ronald Vincent McDaniel, Sr. He also worked for several years as an office manager for ReMax Atlanta Realty. He married his partner of 26 years, Gary Lee Schroeder, on November 15, 2017. He is survived by his husband, Gary; sisters-in-law, Linda Sneath and her husband, Brady Sneath, and Nancy Warner and her husband, David Warner.
