Becky was preceded in death by her parents Thomas “Chick” and Loretta Womack Hazelwood, sister Joan Rogers and step-grandson Camden Hancock.
Becky’s ambition drove her to earn her first associate degree in social work. She was born with an eye for fashion and also graduated from the Art Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Becky later worked as a parimutuel clerk at Churchill Downs, Keeneland, and Ellis Park Racetracks. She will be remembered as a beautiful spirit who was full of life and loved everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughter Nicole Hancock and her husband Dyke of Evansville, IN; sister Diana Murphy of Stillwater, OK; step-granddaughter Ryley Hancock; nieces and nephews Johnny Hardwick and his wife Cindy, Eric Rogers and his wife Cara, Lori Morris, Scott Rogers and his wife Cindy, Mimi Carter and her husband Gary, Buck Rogers and his wife Shawna, Julie Teague and her husband Derrick, and Tori Gaffney and her husband Jason; several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Becky’s Life Celebration from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Fairmont Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 with Chaplain Deacon Allen officiating. Burial will follow. Due to Gov. Beshear’s mandate, masks are required prior to entry with limited seating per Covid-19 regulations.
