JOYCE ROGERS On December 2, 2020, Joyce Faye Rogers passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband and two daughters. Joyce was born on September 15, 1947 in Santa Paula, CA. January 27, 1967, Joyce married her friend and the love of her life Marlin Rogers. They moved to Chico and raised their two daughters. Joyce was a beautiful woman inside and out. She loved fitness, music, riding horses, long walks and being with her family. Her true passion was helping animals. She spent many years volunteering with the Humane Society, caring for, loving, housing and finding homes for animals in need. Joyce's other passion was gardening. She had an extraordinary green thumb. You could always find her working in her beautiful yard with her doggies by her side. No words can express how much Joyce will be missed. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Garwin and Opal, as well as her brother Willis. She is survived by her husband Marlin and two daughters Kari and Lisa, son-in-law George, her beloved grandchildren Dalton, Holden and Abby, her brother Ronny, sister-in-law Shirley and nephews and nieces, In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society or your local animal shelter.
