James Creech was a United States Navy veteran. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1974. During his time in the service of his country, he achieved the rank of EW2 and pay grade of E5 on November 1, 1972. James entered the Navy on May 15, 1970, and served two years and nineteen days of Sea Service. His last duty station was aboard the USS Bordelon, a Gearing Class destroyer. James MOS was 1598 Electronics Standards Specialist. James, after serving three years, eleven months, and 19 days, was released from active duty and honorably discharged on April 29, 1974.After serving his active duty, James was assigned to the United States Naval Reserves until May 14, 1976. While in the service of his country James earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Combat Action Ribbon.
