Harry Oliver, 87, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2005 at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2005, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue. Burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Mr. Oliver owned Revilo Paint and Varnish Co., for 38 years before his retirement. He was a member of Beth Shalom Synagogue, former member and president of its Men's Club, member of B'nai B'rith, Meadowbrook Country Club, Oakwood Country Club, Scottish Rite Bodies, 32nd degree Mason and was a Shriner. Mr. Oliver and his wife Marie, were co-presidents of the Parents Council at Beth Shalom Synagogue. He was born in Kansas City, MO and was a life long area resident. Mr. Oliver was preceded in death in 1997 by his wife of 59 years, Marie Oliver and a grandson, Bobby Klein. His memory will be cherished by Neora Swartz, her 5 children, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his son and daughter-inlaw: Jack and Georgiana Oliver, Alexandria, VA; daughter and son-in-law: Pam and Richard Klein, Houston, TX; grandchildren: Bradley Klein and his wife Stephanie; Jennifer Alpard and her husband Scott; Lillian Bartalos and her husband Neal; Megan Duckers and her husband Chris; Joseph Oliver and Teddy Oliver; great-grandchildren: Katie, Casey, Cade, Calye, Brianna and Braden, many nieces, nephews and 2 sisters-in-law also survive.
