Donald Alan Holt was born to Albert "Jack" and Marina Labastida Holt on December 27, 1944 at Quintard Hospital in San Diego, California. He graduated from Kearny High School in San Diego, ca and San Diego State University. He was a Vietnam War Vet, having served in the 1st Cavalry Division of the US Army. He is survived by his daughter, Katharine Dawn Holt and many extended family members. He is preceded in death by his second wife, mother, brother, beloved grandmother, grandfather and step-father. Don was a skilled landscape designer and draftsman. He loved his daughter, jazz, his hometown, his guitar and the beach.
