Kathy is survived by her loving and devoted husband, (LIVING) Lee, a daughter (LIVING) Schivers Paige ((LIVING)), two sons (LIVING) Schivers ((LIVING)), and (LIVING) Schivers ((LIVING)), two step daughters (LIVING) Hebert ((LIVING)) and (LIVING) Lee, five sisters (LIVING) Duncan ((LIVING)), (LIVING) Waller ((LIVING)), (LIVING) Taylor Brown, (LIVING) Bosarge ((LIVING)), (LIVING) Bond ((LIVING)), and one brother (LIVING) Cuevas ((LIVING)). She also leaves behind 8 beloved grandchildren, (LIVING) & (LIVING), (LIVING) & (LIVING), (LIVING) & (LIVING), and (LIVING) & (LIVING) along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was reunited with her loving parents, Crayton Cuevas and Sarah Butler Cuevas, her brother Eugene Cuevas, and many other family members of like faith.

Kathy loved spending time with family. She took great pride in her beautiful home and flower gardens. She was also a great seamstress and enjoyed painting. She was a faithful, loving, and devoted wife. As a mama, she was the closest thing to perfect as a human is capable of being. Her love and devotion to her grandbabies was deep. While her grandbabies were the light of her life, Kathy had a true heart for children. She was a teacher with Harrison County Schools for 19 years. She was loved by her students as well as her colleagues. She also spent many years as a Sunday school teacher at Saucier Holiness Church and Christian Worship Center. Kathy was many things to many people but, above all she was an Encourager, a fact that has been mentioned several times since her death. She lived her entire life serving God. Through all that life dealt she NEVER wavered in her convictions and devotion to Jesus. She has been an awesome example to follow. If she was still here today she would encourage each and every one of you to read the Word of God daily, to pray without ceasing, and build your personal relationship with Jesus Christ as that is the only thing that will sustain you.

A Visitation will be held Friday January 15,2021 at 6:00 PM at Christian Worship Center in Gulfport, MS. A Service will be held Saturday January 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Christian Worship Center.
