Glenn Alan Young, 58 years of age, departed this life on Thursday, January 13th, 2021 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Glenn was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 1st, 1962, son of George M. and Anna D. Young. He was a Technician for AT&T. He was a retired United States Navy Veteran.
Glenn was survived by his parents, George and Anna Young; one sister, Janet (and Delbert) Keeton; two nieces, Amber Dawn Keeton (and Nick Wilson), Heather Ann Keeton (and fiance - David Bandy); one uncle, Ray Young; three aunts, Rosetta Hall, Barb Young, and Marcie (and Bob) Hampton; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deb Ailene Tackett Young, whom he married on February 14th, 1998 and who departed this life on September 22nd, 2012.
Visitations were held from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 in the Chapel of the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Double Springs Cemetery.
