Judy Bowman Brown was born on February 4, 1945, in Clay County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Edward and Sophia “Pearl” Grubb Bowman. She was united in marriage to David Ray Brown, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Brown-Mowry of Palm Beach, Florida, her sister, Sandra Bowman, four grandchildren, Nicholas, Bryant, Noah, and Catherine Mowry, three great-grandchildren, James, Sophia and Bennett Mowry, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Shonda Gayle Brown, and her brother, Larry Bowman.
Judy was a retired teacher and a member of East London Baptist Church.
Judy Bowman Brown departed this life at her home on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, being 75 years, 11 months and 8 days of age.
Memorial services for Judy Bowman Brown will be conducted at 6 PM Monday at East London Baptist Church with Steve Smith officiating.
