Memorial services for Ricky Collins, 64, of Nacogdoches, will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2021 with Bro. Bobby Russell officiating.

Mr. Collins passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Nacogdoches. He was born on November 24, 1956.

Ricky was born in Nacogdoches to John Olind and Lillie Ray Collins November 24, 1956. Ricky grew up in the Gravel Ridge Community where he enjoyed working the land, piddling, collecting antique and classic cars and watching his family grow and play. Ricky loved the Lord and lead his family to know and love our Savior. He was a big man with an even bigger heart and was often sought after for his abundant wisdom from the community and his family and friends. Ricky and Becki married in 1977 and shared a legendary love story that is only written about in books. They had three children; Jonathan, Traci, and Amy, whom he counted as his biggest blessings, until the arrival of his grandchildren. Becoming “Papoo” was his greatest accomplishment in life.

Ricky is proceeded in Death by his grandparents. His parents John Olind and Lillie Ray Collins and his brother Don Collins.

The Family Request that people who wish to come pay their respects to please wear a mask.
