She was a master scheduler at Cross Manufacturing. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Salina, KS, and attended Fort Hays State College.
On Sept. 23, 1950 she married Ben Walter Turner at Red Lodge, Montana, he passed away in 2010.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Roy (Jayme) Turner, Larned, and Kendall Royce Turner, Larned; a daughter, Brenda Joyce (Gregg) Adams, Dyer, Indiana; a sister, Carol A. (Teddy) Gingrich, Larned; 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sons, Kelly Joe and Lonnie Dean Turner; a brother, Allen McBride; sisters, Jennie Pearl Walker and Janice Duncan; a great grandson, Lonnie Michael Sweeney.
