Howard "Arky" Duncan Chancellor age 86, of Bismarck, died at home under his favorite tree on Sunday March 29, 2015. He was born August 1, 1928, the son of Claud Lee and Polly Ann Duncan Chancellor. He was a heavy equipment operator in Escondido, CA from 1950 - 1985, and a member of the Local #12 Engineers Union for over 50 years. He moved back to Arkansas in 1985, where he farmed and raised cattle for many years. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and loved his wife of 67 years and family very much.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy Murders Chancellor, two sons; Danny (Joan) Chancellor of Escondido, CA, and David (Laura) Chancellor of Bismarck, AR; one daughter Norma Kay (Eric) Mueller; one sister Methel Bell of Flora MS; ten grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 10 AM Saturday April 4, 2015 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel in Arkadelphia with Reverend David Smith officiating and burial in Mountain Valley Cemetery near Hot Springs. Visitation will be from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home.
