On January 6, 2021, Evelyn Marie Mount, 93, went to be with our Lord, passing peacefully at home with family. Evelyn was born in Arlington September 14, 1927 to Henry and Jennie Otter. She and Charles Mount shared 50 years together until his passing in 1996. Evelyn attended Providence Hospital School of Nursing, graduating with a four year degree in 1954. Nursing was her passion. She worked in Marysville from graduation to her retiring at age 72. She was compassionate and generous, caring for others all her life. She loved gardening and canning to share with friends and family. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Kenneth, brothers Herman, John and Alan Otter, sisters Carrie Jones, Ann Jones, Jeanie Otter, Etta Snodgrass and Ruth Osborne. She is survived by her son Herman (Helen) Mount, daughter Jeanne (Bob) Pattison, brothers Andy and Henry Otter, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Evelyn was loved and appreciated by all who knew her and is missed beyond words.
