Delores worked as a housekeeper at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh for over 15 years. She was a member of Wild Rose Baptist Church, and a former member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Oshkosh and Frostproof Baptist Church in Frostprooth, FL.
She loved God, and her family, who she provided many wonderful memories to over the years. After retirement, she and Gordon moved to Lake Breeze, FL where they resided for 17 years until they returned to Wisconsin. She enjoyed various crafts throughout her lifetime, cooking and baking, especially Norwegian meals, and desserts. Delores was a gracious woman who made everyone feel loved and welcome.
She is survived by her sons, Chuck (Ruth) Sheveland and Gordy Sheveland; grandchildren: Adam Sheveland, Bethany (Rob) Kobiske, Chad Sheveland, Kari (Paul) Searing, and Kirsten (Daniel) Alexander; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane Goetchow, and Beverly Dobbins. She is further survived by nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, Delores was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, and brothers, Butch and Russel Schultz.
A funeral service for Delores will take place at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. A visitation will take place at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.
