William Thomas Hughes III, 37, husband of Shannon King Hughes, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. He was born on March 23, 1983 in Georgetown, Kentucky, son of William Thomas “Tommy” (Paula) Hughes Jr. and the late Tammy Kelly Hogan. Thomas enjoyed building things, fishing, anything with camo on it and he was an avid Green Bay Packer’s football fan. In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by his three children, Katelyn Nicole Faye Hughes, Malakai King Thomas Johnson and Olivia Marie Hughes; two brothers, Chad Allen Hughes and Nathan Lee Hughes; his grandparents, William Thomas “Bill” (Cheryl) Hughes Sr. and Evalena (John Ray) Jones. Thomas was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Arthur. Graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 19 at Georgetown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Hughes, Colten Hambrick, Trent Horn, Brian Tackett, Jayce Johnson, Daniel King and Eddie Kays.
