Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel for John Dale Trahan, 62, who died at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Shreveport, LA.
Rev. Lenford Whitaker, Pastor of The Pentecostals of Crowley will officiate the funeral and the burial will follow in the North Hanks Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Trahan of Crowley; 4 daughters, Takisha Jane Derouen of Crowley, Sandy Dale Trahan of Crowley, Christy Lynn Leblanc and her husband Peter of Jeanerette and Ashley Michelle Trahan of Crowley; 1 son, Matthew John Trahan of Crowley; mother, Katherine Francez Meyers of Crowley; father, John Wilbert Trahan of Crowley; 2 sisters, Laura Ann Smith of Crowley and Lisa Mcdaniel of Texas; 2 brothers, Terry James Trahan of Morse and David Wayne Trahan of Mire; 16 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Rena and Seville Trahan and his maternal grandparents, Jessie and Della Meyers.
