Marcia was a chair-side dental assistant in Oklahoma City, where she met Wayne Myers. Both Marcia and Wayne enjoyed spending time together and raising their horses. They trained their horses for various charity trail rides that they would go on with family and friends.
Transitioning into retirement was easy for Marcia, as she looked for ways to give back to her community. She volunteered with organizations, such as Health for Friends in Norman.
Marcia passed away on September 26th, 2020. As she left this earth, she carved her name on our hearts. Her legacy is etched into our minds and woven into the stories we share.
Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Emil Janko.
She is survived by her mother, Mable Janko, her husband of 28 years, Wayne Myers, her 3 wonderful children: Matthew & wife Jennifer Holden, Danielle Holden, and Wayne’s daughter Helen and husband Vic Wheeler. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Ashley and Amber Pickering, Marissa and Warren Holden, and Ames and Channing Wheeler.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Moore-Pawsabilities, located at 3900 I-35 Service Road, Moore, OK 73153.
